Feature Friday: Koral Los Angeles
12/Oct
Today’s Feature Friday is a new brand of jeans in our women’s department – Koral Los Angeles
Koral Los Angeles is a NEW brand of denim developed in early 2012 by Peter Koral & Rick Crane, the same people who launched 7 For All Mankind, with the addition of Peter’s son, David Koral into the mix.
“KORAL Los Angeles is the result of years of unbridled creative passion and interest in denim and its evolution,” said KORAL Los Angeles owner and co-founder David Koral. The brand is based in Vernon, Calif., adjacent to downtown Los Angeles.” (www.korallosangeles.com)
Having been the pioneers in the premium denim market for over a decade, it’s an exciting new venture for the design team to launch a new brand. Their success and history working in the industry only means we will expect great quality and style with KORAL Los Angeles.
What is special about Koral Jeans is the attention to detail with regards to the fit and the wash of their jeans. In particular, their collection of their signature “lived in length” concept, “featuring progressively altered washes that range from 0 months (pure, raw denim) to 36 months (hand processed to reflect the natural wear on a pair of jeans after three years).” (Koral Los Angeles Press Release, April 30 2012).
As denim experts at Over the Rainbow, we carry a broad spectrum of brands that offer raw denim and washed denim to suit the tastes of our customers. It’s exciting to offer that selection within one brand in our women’s department.
