Feature Friday: Tellason Denim

In the midst of our summer sale, we’ve also been receiving brand new merchandise in store for Fall. One of these new arrivals is a new brand from San Francisco, Tellason Denim.

At Over the Rainbow, we scour far and wide to find the newest brands and products to carry in our store in Toronto. In particular, Tellason Denim had been in the radar of our buyers and we’re excited to now be carrying it in our men’s department.

A bit of background behind the brand, the brains behind the brand are Tony Patella and Pete Searson:

“After working in the apparel industry for 20 years, it was time we took things into our own hands and made something of our own-  something that stood up to our personal waterline, so to speak.  A proper pair of men’s jeans was the answer so we took it from there and went out to make a jean that mattered. What we came up with was a range of jeans we are proud of: great fits, beautiful fabric from Cone Mills’ White Oak plant in Greensboro, North Carolina that is cut and sewn in San Francisco, California.” (Tellason Denim, 2012)

Being one of the destination denim retailers in Toronto, “denim junkies” can now add this brand to their collection of raw selvege jeans. We’ve got 4 styles that we currently carry in store now:

2. Mens John Graham Mellor 14.75 oz. Slim Straight $198

Slim straight fit.

3. Mens Ladbroke Grove 12.5 oz. Slim Tapered $198

Slim tapered fit.

4. Mens Gustave  14.75 oz. Slim Tapered $198

The Gustave is slightly longer in the front and back rise, slightly wider at the thigh, and narrower from the knee down.
