LOYAL SHOPPERS: The Garber Family

InsideRainbow.Com has decided to add a new segment to its fashion blog. It was inspired by an article written in August by Lauren Garber, whose family has been shopping at Over the Rainbow for years. Every few weeks, we will profile a Loyal Shopper, which is a notable person, group or family who happily calls themselves a Rainbow customer. The segment can include anyone from the neighbourhood or even your favourite celebrity or local athlete. At the end of the day, it’s all about our customer whose loyally has sustained our store for 35 years.

The Garber family are not only customers, but also sell us their very own brand of jewellry and accessories. Like our store, Three’s Company is a true family business cultivated in Toronto and continues to grow through their brand and other wholesale ventures. Their marketing guru Lauren often writes about Over the Rainbow, and recapped her experiences in a post on their company blog:

“I have fond memories of when I was kid of those special Saturday afternoons that my mom would take my sister and I shopping. We would venture into the city from Thornhill, which seemed like a road trip back then. It would be an exciting girls afternoon of everything fashion. Our favorite stomping grounds was none other than Over The Rainbow in Yorkville. I remember it so clearly, walking into the gigantic store with a larger denim selection than any little girl could imagine. This was the place that my sister and I purchased our first pair of luxury jeans. We grew out of the age of ‘being kids in a candy store’ and grew into the age of ‘being young women in a clothing store’…”
