Wings + Horns, one of our favourite men’s brands, has delivered their new Spring/Summer 2011 collection. Some of the highlight pieces in their Archive series this season includes their Loop Terry Hoodie ($184), Plaid Collar Polo ($100), Organic Long Sleeve Henley ($74), and Moth Logo Tee ($62). “The Cabinet of Curiosities and Wunderkammer (Wonder-rooms), were encyclopedic collections popularized during the Renaissance, cataloging objects and rarities relating to natural history. As a natural philosopher, Ole Worm assembled a great collection of curiosities, which ranged from native artifacts collected from the New World, to taxidermed animals, and fossils on which he speculated greatly. Worm compiled engravings of his collection, along with his speculations into a catalog of his Museum Wormianum, published after his death in 1655. Wings + Horns prepares the traveler in their search of these particular rarities in conditions one may face on their adventures around the world while still staying true to the spirit of spring and summer…”
