Hot & Fresh: Men’s Fall 2012 Colour Jeans
24/Sep
Staff Blog Post by Zach Marcovici
This Fall is definitely not going to be your regular gray/black/white colour scheme. The colour trend isn’t over, but it is a bit different. Rather than having very bright, popping colours like we did this past Spring/Summer, guys can look forward to toning down into the warmer reds, purples, and greens. Here are just a few of the coloured jeans and pants we are carrying for this season:
We have been carrying fashion from Amsterdam-based Scotch & Soda for years, but we just brought in their chino pant and they are selling fast! Available in purple, berry, khaki, and gray, this pant has a nice slim fit to it with a bit of stretch, making them very comfortable.

Scotch & Soda Chino (top left to bottom right: Graphite, Blush, Khaki, Blueberry) $136
Want some good old Canadian coloured denim? We’ve got the Weird Guy in pomegranate, khaki, and green (not pictured) from Naked & Famous. The cut gives a little more room on the top part of the jean and finishes off with a tapered leg. This is our second year carrying the pomegranate wash – which was actually dyed with real pomegranate!

Naked & Famous WeirdGuy in Pomegranate $198

Naked & Famous WeirdGuy in Khaki $150
We also brought in two colours from J Brand in their slim Tyler cut: evergreen and red desert. These deep colours are perfect for Fall and have a very cool rugged look to them. Similar to the Naked & Famous Weird Guy, it has a slim fit with a tapered leg.

J Brand Mens Tyler in Evergreen $245

J Brand Tyler in Red Desert $245
If you’re looking for a coloured jean that isn’t too skinny, we have the Normandie slim-straight cut from Paige. Available in syrah and gray, this jean has a softer fabric and is a bit lighter weight. This is the pair for all you optimists hoping that it doesn’t get too cold too soon!

Paige Normandie in Miner $279

Paige Normandie in Syrah $220
What’s really great about these colours is how you can wear them. If you want to keep it simple, you can throw on a solid tee or a hoodie. They also look cool with an oxford shirt (maybe a printed one if you’re really feeling adventurous) if you want to dress them up a bit more. The bottom line is – have fun with your Fall wardrobe this year! Throw some colour into the mix and you’ll still be able to maintain a simple look, just kicked up a few notches. Once again, this isn’t all we have and we are expecting more so stay tuned and come on in and try a pair on!
