TRADESHOW RECAP: OTR x ENK Blue x Designer’s Collective x (capsule)

Yes, we are a little late posting this recap. But since Over the Rainbow was already in New York attending the MR Magazine Awards Reunion Dinner, our buyers decided to check out the tradeshows too. Their first stop was Designer Collective, where they found an exciting new men’s sportswear brand that is starting to get hot in the United States. From their, they moved down the hall to ENK Blue, where they got a sneak preview of some our existing fashion & denim brands. Highlights included an exciting shorts line from Union, a sinister yet practical looking selection from Black Apple, more interesting music tees from Archive 1887, an amazing sportswear line from Life After Denim, and a solid lineup from incoming denim brand Vintage Revolution. All these mentioned are new lines coming in for Fall 2010, and we found 4 men’s brands on our rader for 2011. 

From there, our buyers took a tour of the (capsule) show, which was hosted in a brand new venue this season. We saw the new 32 oz. raw denim creation from Naked & Famous, as well as said hello to our new friends over at Triple Works Ltd., an exciting new denim line of pure Japanese selvedge bodies. After briefly flipping through the new Shades of Grey line, the buyers left with 2 more men’s brands to consider for 2011. Lots of great options for our menswear clientele.
